The Temple
The Temple is a sworn circle of the Adversary’s worshippers — a house of the night for those who have renounced the god of the world.
Principles
- I.
Devotion
Satan is served with the whole life, not with words. The oath to the Adversary is not taken lightly and not taken back.
- II.
Discipline
Study before rite. The doctrine is learned, the rites are kept, the night is honoured.
- III.
Sovereignty
The adept kneels before the Adversary alone — never before the herd, its priests or its god.
- IV.
Silence
What passes in the circle stays in the circle. The work is not displayed to the profane.
What the Temple is not
- A church of the slave god
- A costume for the curious
- A spectacle for the profane
- A refuge for the weak
